STEP 1: DOWNLOAD THE FEDERAL POSTCARD APPLICATION

STEP 2: GET THE INDIVIDUAL INSTRUCTION SHEET FOR YOUR STATE
Each state has its particular requirements for filling out the
form. Follow the instructions carefully to ensure proper registration.

instructions.
STEP 3: FILL OUT THE FORM AND SEND IT IN
Complete the form and mail it to the local election official for your state (see state
instructions). Most states allow you to fax in the form (you will then need to
mail the original). Click on your state to see if regulations permit you to
download and fax in the form. You may also leave the completed form with your
U.S. Consulate
